Precut your fabric in the order given, cut sashing and borders first, and have precut blocks 1 and 2 for week one class.  Only cut fabric for block 1 & 2 for first class!!! You can cut fabric for weeks two and three before each class.  Put all pieces for each block in individual zip lock bags.  Bring precut pieces to class along with any leftover fabric.  You do not need to bring sashing and border fabric to class.

Sashing and Borders: (borders cut oversized and trimmed later)

Gold - cut 6 strips, (2 ½” X selvage to selvage)

Black - cut 12 squares (2 ½” X 2 ½”)

Green - cut 2 strips (3 ½” 50”)

Blue - cut 2 strips (3 ½” X 35”)

Red - cut 4 squares (3 ½” X 3 ½”)

Red – cut 8 squares (3 ½” x3 ½”)                                                Tan – cut 1 (6 ½” X 12 ½”), cut 2 (7” x 5 ½”)

Tan - cut 8 squares (3 ½” x3 ½”), 4 squares (3”x3”)                      Blue - cut 1 square (13 ¼” X 13 ¼”)

Tan - cut 2 (A) (2” X 4”), cut 2 - (C) (2 ½” X 2”)                          we will cut pieces in class from scraps

         cut 2 - (B) (3 ¾” X 3 ¾”) cut diagonally twice

         cut 2 - (D) (4” X 4”)                    

         cut 2 - (E & F)  (4 ½” X 3 ¼”) put wrong sides together and cut diagonally once        

Blue/Green/Red (G & H) cut 2 @ color (8” X 3”) (put wrong sides together and cut with a 45º angle(will do in class))

Gold – cut 2(I) (2 ½” X 2 ½”), cut 3 (K) (2 ¼” X 2 ¼”)

Black – cut 1(J) (5” X 5”) (we will use template to cut shape in class)
