Block of the Month Design for 2010 is my own design.  The blocks are easy to intermediate and only one block has Y seams!  The layout of the blocks is the mystery; you will be making multiple blocks of the same design.

 

I am making this quilt available in two sizes.  The block sizes will be the same (8 x 8” and 4” x 8” finished size blocks), the quilt size changes based on the number of blocks made, their arrangement and the borders.

 

Fabric requirements: I suggest a small print background with multiple colors, then using strong colors for block designs.  Or a plain background, with strong color small prints for the block designs.  I am listing suggested colors that I will be using; keep track of your colors to mine so the effect will be the same.

 

If you really want to see the design I will show you, but you have to keep it a secret!
